This is the first problem I encountered:

23″ Hannspree HF237HPB HDMI

The other monitor (on the right) has somewhat a yellowish tint covering the entire screen.  At first, I thought it only concerns the monitor setting: the other is just brighter than the other or it has a user setting either it is on cool, warm, nature or on a customized settings. I changed all settings at the same time, making the two monitor have an identical setting. Unfortunately, it seems that I can’t fixed the problem. After that, I resorted to different troubleshooting options and here are my pieces of advice (and what I have done too) concerning people who also will encounter this same problem in the future (assuming that you have just installed only an OS, recognizing automatically the drivers and monitor itself, in this case I have it on dual boot: Ubuntu 9.10 64-Bit and Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit). After 4 years of using only my laptop to my everyday life and academic use, and now that my laptop is already vulnerable and susceptible to failure (*Thanks to Ubuntu, they diagnosed that my HDD has too many bad sectors already–I think this is because of 24/7 use– and it’s life is already limited*), I’ve decided to buy a new Desktop Computer. Specifically, the purpose of buying of this new computer is to aid higher demands, especially for my brother who needs a fast-rendering/exporting or a high-powered PC for his thesis, of course for future use like animation and not for gaming :D
